Add a bunch more Quartz effects, which are included on the machine anyway, to iChat and Photobooth.

Menubar app which lets you "shove" any text, images, etc into it and then sort out later. Looks interesting, though may be duplication of others like Evernote etc. (Though looks simpler and therefore better then Evernote.) Also has iPhone app which synchronises.

Textorize - a Ruby + RubyCocoa script that uses OS X's excellent Cocoa font rendering to create sub-pixel anti-aliased PNGs of pieces of type, perfect for serving to dumb browsers that don't understand font-face, and arguably better than Cufon, sIFR, Typekit etc.

Note taking, everything-grabbing, dumping-ground, taggable, sliceable, diceable, configurable, something-or-other app for Mac. Even records video/audio, uses file tree for storage, built-in web browser. Looks pretty awesome if I ever needed something like this. Competitor to Yojimbo, Devonthink, Together, etc.
