elmcity project FAQ « Jon Udell
http://blog.jonudell.net/elmcity-project-faq/
Cool project to create an aggregated community-updated calendar service. Uses Delicious to grab event feeds, sorts them together. Clever project from Jon Udell, who works for Microsoft but we'll try not to hold that against him. Elmcity is built using the new MS Azure cloud platform, but we'll try not to hold that against it.

Fantastic article unearthing a heap of interesting information collected over the years of writing, updating and maintaining the zoneinfo database, used by most UNIX-based computers as a ruleset for their system clocks and daylight saving changes.
